About Feversham Guest House in York
Feversham Lodge was converted from a 19th Century Methodist Manse to a Guest
House in 1980.
After purchasing the property 5 years ago we embarked upon a significant refurbishment
of the public areas and bedrooms. This combined with a 95% hospitality rating by
Visit Britain has resulted in Feversham Lodge being awarded 4 stars Silver Award
status by Visit Britain.
We have in keeping with the age of the house aimed at recreating the age of gracious
living so reminiscent of the Victorian era.
The ambience is enhanced with period furniture and original artworks.
All bedrooms are en-suite and colour television with integrated DVD, radio alarm
clocks, CD players, hair-dryers, luxury toiletries by Montague and Lloyd and courtesy
trays are standard. Further personal touches include free DVD library, free use
of guest computer and free Wi-Fi (wireless internet connectivity), publications
and books of local and national interest and tourist information folders.
