Feversham Lodge was converted from a 19th Century
Methodist Manse
to a Guest House in 1980.
We bought the property in June 2004 and have embarked upon a
significant re-vamp of the public areas and bedrooms. This has resulted in our
being awarded 4 diamond status by the English Tourism Council
We have in keeping with the age of the house aimed at recreating the age
of gracious living reminiscent of the Victorian era.
The Dining Room with its original Victorian ceiling rose
and Italian
marble fireplace is a particular feature of our home.
The room is tastefully furnished with period pieces, whilst original
artworks and Royal Doulton dinnerware enhance the ambience.
All bedrooms are en-suite and colour television with integrated DVD,
radio alarm clocks, CD players,
hair-dryers, luxury toiletries by Montague and Lloyd and courtesy trays are standard. Further
personal touches include free DVD library, use of guest computer and free wifi (wireless internet connectivity),
publications and books of local and national interest
and tourist information folders.
